 Basics of Islam Course - Level 1 (Session 2):

 

Wednesday, May 8, 2019, we will begin running the Basics of Islam Level 1 Course at UMM. This course covers an explanation of the common remembrance phrases such as "SubhanAllah" and "Allahu Akbar;" presents the basic meanings of each ayah in Surah al Fatihah, the opening chapter of the Quran; and identifies many of the beautiful features and merits of Islam. 

 

The course will run for four (4) weeks,from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, every Wednesday and Friday beginning from Wednesday, May 8 and concluding on Friday, May 31, 2019. This course is for both new Muslims and practicing Muslims who want a proper foundation in the basics of Islam. Successful completion of the course will help to improve the quality of one's worship as well increased understanding of revelation (i.e. the Quran and sunnah). 

 

There are separate classes for men and women. Participants must register in order to attend. The last day of registration is May 10, 2019.
