A STATEMENT FROM THE LEADERSHIP OF UMM ON

 JUMUAH SERVICE AND THE CORONA/COVID19 DISEASE

 

Prayer is one of the greatest forms of remembrance. Allah tells Musa, prayers and peace be upon him:

 

{فَاعْبُدْنِي وَأَقِمِ الصَّلاَةَ لِذِكْرِي} [طه:14]

So worship me and establish prayer specifically for my remembrance.

 

Based on the current stay-at-home order in Philadelphia, please note the following:

1. UMM has suspended all congregational activities for the public until further notice, including prayer and classes.

2. The Jumu’ah khutbah (not open to the public) will be live streamed from UMM’s Facebook page. If you follow at home, you must pray dhuhr.

3. Tuesday night classes will be live-streamed beginning on March 31st insha’Allah.
